Memory and Magic

My father played - when I was young - in a theater magic group. When we were little we we were astonished! When I grew up, of course I asked my father how they did it, and he let me in in the wonderful world of magic. So no, I don't view things differently now. But I do think that it is amazing that they are able to trick us. Even when we know we are being tricked, often we can not find out how they do it. So besides skill, I do really respect their knowledge about how we perceive the world around us!
